about

Originally from Neil Young's 1975 album 'Zuma', my version is less picky and slightly quicker. Probably my favorite song on this album, drum set and piano touching delicately around a guitar part I can't believe I played, my voice heartbreaking - all self-recorded and mastered closer, intimate. I would have had my wife Susi sing backup, but since meeting I've never felt this lonely.

lyrics

It's a fallen situation, when all eyes are turned in and a love isn't flowing the way it could have been. Oh, but it feels so wrong. No, no, no, I don't believe this song.

It's a sad communication with little reason to believe, when one isn't giving and one pretends to receive. Oh, but it feels so wrong. No, no, no, I don't believe this song.

Pardon my heart if I showed that I cared, but I love you more than moments we have or have not shared. Oh, but it feels so good, when love flows the way that it should. It feels so good, it feels good, it feels good.
